Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church
Members take turns conducting a bible study at each meeting. Our circle doesn’t meet during the summer months of July and August. At the June meeting we meet at a local restaurant before our summer break. For our December meeting we also meet at a nearby restaurant to celebrate the season with one another. Our circle also has a turn twice a year of hosting a doughnut fellowship hour after church services and later that month a pot luck fellowship hour.
One of our members, along with other members of the congregation, go on the annual Presbyterian mission trip for a week. When she returns we use the bible study portion of the meeting for her to share her experiences. This information is inspiring as well as encouraging.
We also help to organize funeral luncheons. There are intervals that we take part in service projects such as putting together mosquito netting for third world countries. Recently we began a prayer shawl ministry.
Martha Circle would love to have new members. We support PW through the Birthday Offering, the Thank Offering, and least coin. We also send cards out monthly to shut ins. We were able to contribute gift cards needed for HM3 at Christmas. Anyone who would like to join or just come to a meeting to see what we do is welcome.
